My sweet one
My shy heart keens for you
my poor heart. Where are you?
You with your sweet tongue,
your smile, your eyes a doe's eyes;
my heart seeks you. I ask where you are.
You cry when I cry, and laugh as I do.
You know my heart and my trouble.
You laugh knowing my heart
and it seeks you. Where are you?
My breast hides an unknown wound,
for which no doctor has a cure.
My head is bent with suffering.
I never smile; I seek you. Where are you.
