My sweet one

My shy heart keens for you

my poor heart. Where are you?

You with your sweet tongue,

with your sweet smile, your eyes

doe eyes; my heart seeks you. Where are you.

You cry when I cry, and laugh as I do.

You know my heart and my trouble.

You laugh because you know my heart

it looks for you. Where are you?

My breast hides an unknown wound,

for which no doctor has a cure.

My head is bent with suffering.

Darkened I look for you. Where are you.
